Peace that Passeth Understanding

"I do not want the peace that passeth understanding.
I want the understanding which bringeth peace."

Helen Keller

Sometimes our emotions or situations are like a fog that envelops us and prevents us from finding that "understanding which bringeth peace."

What can I do today to shine the light of truth, bring forth the sunshine, and clear away the fog, to acheive that "understanding which bringeth peace"?

"Let it begin with me."

Pati,
Thank you for coming to visit my blog. I found you through Ali and I love what you are doing here. I guess you inspired me to do something similar. I am finding my way back to God after about a five year spiritual drought, also seeking peace in Him.
Easter Blessings to you and your family,
Pearle

Hello Pati,
It is a wonderfully journey you are embarking on with your blog! I am feeling lucky to be able to share in it.
PEACE.
Daily peace....
we walk through life trying to grasp it through material things, through other people, through external "stuff". It is always here, in us, in simple things.
Thank you for reminding me of that.
Keep up the amazing work here,
I am looking forward to more.

Ah Pati, this day's thought goes with where I am now. I have a lot of dissonance right now -- I can hear it, but not yet move past it! Usually, when something like this rises in consciousness, it also gets released. I am waiting, perhaps not so patiently, for the release. Of course there is also always the chance I could come to appreciate dissonance, rather than find it troubling! Hope springs eternal! Love, Mary
