"With malice toward none, with charity for all,
...let us strive on to finish the work we are in,
...to do all which may achieve and cherish
a just and lasting peace among ourselves
and with all nations."
Abraham Lincoln

It is nice to be back reading your blog -- I had some vision problems last week. I live in VA, my sister in Blacksburg, so there is much need for peace these days here.
As my ASL instructor would say, "Strong words!" The phrase is packed with meaning and seems appropriate. Such an important message.
Thanks for your blog and your words of wisdom. I am new to reading blogs and don't have a lot of time to do so. I totally appreciate the simplicity of yours and the inspiration it brings. Keep it up and don't let it get too complicated! Of course the other blog I visit is that of your amazing daughter Ali.
I have chosen a word for 2007 and just letting it sink in and work on my thoughts, feelings and interactions with others. Will share at a later date......
