I found this quote in one of Rober Schuller's books, "The Be (Happy) Attitudes." Mr. Schuller appeared to develop the above quote from his knowledge of Gerald Jampolsky's idea, "The opposite of love is not hate. The opposite of love is fear." Mr. Schuller goes on to write, "So the opposite of peace is deeper than just conflict - the opposite of peace is insecurity."

Well stated! Whenever I feel the seeds of aggitation, I try to remove myself from the situation. Because if I stay, the entire world seems to become cold and mean. Peace really does start within.
