"PEACE is not something you wish for;
It's something you MAKE,
Something you DO,
Something you ARE,
and something you GIVE AWAY."
Robert Fulghum
National Scrapbook Day. How lucky am I to be Scrapbooking with my daughter Ali! She asked me to help her during her Online Crop today and she even gave me a project to work on; to create a Challenge. The quote today fits right into the theme of National Scrapbook Day and Ali's new Kit of the Month from Creating Keepsakes, "Everyday Beauty." I was honored to be the theme of her Album. The idea of the kit is so relevant to the quote; Ali made something, it's something she does all the time, it's something she is, and it's something she gives away to hundreds of thousands of people....her ideas, her creations, her words. She really must be feeling a lot of PEACE!! Peace is her word for the year too! I am blessed to be her Mother.

Great photo! Also, I was so happy that you were at the crop, too! It was fun (I really liked your challenge and am going to complete it in the next few days...I'll send you a link when I do). Finally, I completely believe that peace is something that you make, are, and share (this quote really speaks to me, I guess). As it grows inside it spreads outward, calming and creating good in the world.
Have a great "rest-of-the-weekend!"
I love how you and Ali seem to have such mutual admiration for each other. The way you "speak" about each other is so sweet. I bought Ali's kit, but I was away from home yesterday so I couldn't check out the online crop. I have yet to create my album with the kit, so this week I will browse through the online crop archives and I will be sure to take a look at your challenge. :)
