Preserving memories.

"Everything you are against can be restated
in a way that puts you in support of something.
Instead of being at war, be at peace;
instead of being against poverty, be for prosperity."

Dr. Wayne W. Dyer

I am thankful that Al has always been an excellent photographer in his life. From the beginning years of our marriage we have had a camera and have recorded the lives of our family. So many photos, so many memories, in 37 years of marriage. The photos help preserve the positive, fun events, of our lives. I am thankful for the preservation of those memories.

37 years is awesome! I didn't realize you'd been married that long (though, if I'd thought about it, I guess it'd be obvious by the ages of your children). Congratulations on your awesome relationship and years together...so inspiring!

Beautiful photograph! It reminds me of the book The Hidden Messages of Water by Masaru Emoto. Emoto researched what happened when words like peace, love or healing were written on water bottles and the intent of the message has been shown to change the molecular structure of the water. By looking through the peace sign to the ocean, perhaps you may be changing and healing the molecular structure of the ocean water! Who knows!

Hi Pati. A friend of Ali's here -- Ali's friend Carrie from Texas. :)

I like the words you shared from Wayne Dyer. I actually read something similar recently, attributed to Mother Theresa. Her quote was something along the lines of this...

Don't invite me to an anti-war rally. I'll never attend. But invite me to a peace rally and I will be there.

(greatly paraphrased, of course)

I enjoy reading your thoughts! Thanks.
