It is Pelican season on Lighthouse Beach. Pelicans are one of my favorite birds to observe in nature. I love the way this Pelican's eyes are watching the Cormorant. Pelicans seems to be at peace with all the other birds; even sharing the food they find. I never see them fighting with the other birds around them. Pelicans seem a perfect example of communing, and being at Peace, with nature. I am thankful that I have the opportunity to go with Al in his "Little Red Drift Boat" where I can take photos to my hearts content as we "commune with Mother Nature."
