"Learning to ignore things is
one of the great paths to inner peace."
Robert J. Sawyer
Fog is one of the common weather conditions on the Oregon Coast. Usually when it's warm inland, it's foggy along the ocean beaches. I grew up in the dry weather of Eastern Oregon. When we moved to the Coos Bay it took me a long time to get used to the coastal weather. Now, when the fog envelopes us, I feel a quiet peace. I am thankful that I learned the weather doesn't have to control my moods, or my feeling of inner peace.

How cool! I grew up in a dry climate, too. When I first moved to Oregon (OSU), I kept running my clothes through the dryer. I spent so much money trying to get them dry. Then, I realized that they were as dry as they could be here! It was such a funny discovery!
