"You never know what peace is until you walk on the shores or in the fields or along the winding red roads of Prince Edward Island in a summer twilight when the dew is falling and the old stars are peeping out and the sea keeps its mighty tryst with the little land it loves. You find your soul then. You realize that youth is not a vanished thing but something that dwells forever in the heart."
Lucy Maud Montgomery
The sentence I love the best in this quote about Peace is: "You realize that youth is not a vanished thing but something that dwells forever in the heart." Most people can not truly understand this concept until they reach a certain age...whatever "old" is for them. I just spent the last few days with some of my high school girl friends from the class of 1966. Some of us had not seen each other for 41 years. It's hard to believe that we are all going to be 60 this next year. It was so nice to reconnect after all these years. I believe we all "find our soul" in different places...not necessarily in Prince Edward Island. All of these friends have definitely found their souls and none of them have been to Prince Edward Island! I am thankful for renewing old friendships.

That is so wonderful that you still get together with HS friends. Love the quote today... what will you do when you hit 365?? I hope you'll continue.
