I am thankful that I have an excellent guide to take me into the woods, to blaze the trails through the brush and then find our way out again. My husband, Al, worked in the Timber business and knows how to find his way around deep in the forests of the Pacific Northwest. There is such beauty in the colors, the shadows and the filtered sunlight in the forest. I am thankful for the Peace of the forest.

This is such a great quote! The photo is great, too...I love the forest and miss being in it every day. But, my memories of it bring such calm -- always. Thanks for this spark for the memory!
