I am thankful for the peace that Ronald Regan was able to achieve with Russia; without violence. I believe it was a peace acquired through strength and power. I pray that more of the leaders in the many countries of our world can work for this style of peace.
Even in our families, we sometimes have to use our power, and our strength to carry others to help achieve peace. I am thankful that Al can still carry Simon when Simon is not ready to follow directions; especially when it is time to go home from the beach or some other fun activity.

Awww. Yup, I'm glad I can still carry D in those situations, too. Such a cute photo (even if it was about a little misbehavior).
Ronald Regan has a special place in my memory, too. I have a photocopy of a letter Ronald Regan sent to our school. As our Jr. class president, I invited him to our prom (I know...I was such a geek). He couldn't attend and wrote to let us know. I thought that was pretty cool.
