I am thankful that there are many different ways that our country is being protected from terrorism. The United States Coast Guard is one of our protectors. The Coast Guard has many duties to help protect people. We often see the Guard practicing, in the ocean, saving lives from their helicopters and their speed boats. The photo today is the Coast Guard look-out station overlooking the Coos Bay Bar and Jetty, taken by Al during one of his fishing trips. 8/28/07
