106 years of Nobel Peace Prizes

“The Swedish chemist Alfred B. Nobel, who invented dynamite,
regretted the wartime death and injury caused by his invention.
In his will, he set up a fund to award annual prizes,
including one for outstanding work in promoting world peace.
The first Nobel Prize for peace was awarded in 1901.”

The first Nobel Peace Prize in 1901 was divided equally between:

"JEAN HENRI DUNANT, Switzerland. Founder of the International Committee of the Red Cross, Geneva; Initiator of the Geneva Convention (Convention de Genève).

FRÉDÉRIC PASSY, France. Founder and President of the first French peace society (since 1889 it has been called the Société Francaise pour l'arbitrage entre nations)."

106 years of Nobel Peace prizes have been awarded. Wouldn't it be nice to know more about the people that are working for peace? That could make a good "reality" TV show; telling the life stories of those who have worked for Peace in a positive way.

I am thankful for each day that we can watch the sun rise and set.
I pray for peace our world.
