HAPPY NEW YEAR 2008

We are celebrating New Years Eve with a bottle of Roederer Estate Champagne, a nice dinner and grandson Simon asleep on the couch. He was so busy all day outside with Grampa Al, and walking the beach trail to Shore Acres to see the last night of the Christmas Holiday Lights, that he was asleep by 7:00 pm. We are thankful to have Simon with us for a few days while Ali finishes up some work deadlines. Soon school will start again and he will be too busy to visit us at the beach.

I have decided to continue my "One Word" for 2007 into the new year 2008. I want to continue to study Peace, with the same intentions as last year. Focusing on One Word" has been a pleasure for me. It reminds me of my thoughts about going to college and how hard it was to study so many subjects at one time. I feel the desire to continue to learn more about peace and all it's many deminsions.

Pati-

Thanks so much for this blog-and so glad to hear you will keep it going!

I've checked your site daily for your positive thoughts ever since I wandered onto your site! Thanks for sharing your insights on peace-it's really made a positive impact on me this year.

My word for 2008 (not that you asked!) is "goodwill," inspired by your post the other day.

Have a very good (peaceful)new year!

I'm so glad to see you're going to continue your peace blog. I read it daily and it always gives me a moment of peace and quiet, and usually something to think about. Thank you so much!

I'm also thankful that you're continuing your blog this year. I've only become a regular reader in the past couple of months, but it's where I've been coming when I need some peaceful inspiration. During yoga practice, I set my intention/focus on peace. As my mind tends to wander, I've been using some of your recent peace topics to give my mind a little more scope while still trying to stay on task. (That may have sounded flakey - I just want you to know your blogging efforts don't go unappreciated.) So, thank you and peaceful wishes for the new year.

Thank you for your kind and encouraging comments. I have not been able to link back to your blogs...something happening with Blogspot programing. I appreciate the encouragement to continue my study of peace.

Oh, I'm so happy (and grateful) that you're continuing this blog! You've shared (and taught me) so much and I look forward to visiting your site every day.

Thanks so much for 2007 and here's to 2008! All the best -- and, peace -- to you and your family, Pati!
