The Process of Peace
"What about Peace?
What kind of process is it?
A profound process of humanization,
a system of humanizing oneself and others,
or in less abstract terms,
a system of becoming humanizers,
that is, persons imbued with such values as
compassion,
dignity,
human rights,
justice,
peace,
solidarity,
(cross)cultural understanding and
who apply such ideals in everyday (inter)actions."

I love finding more and more information about peace.
So many people working and writing and studying
about the concept of peace, the process of peace.
According to the article quoted above,
"Using Peaceful Language: From Principles to Practices,"
the process of peace is a process of humanization.
A process of humanization - making something more civilized.
Civilized - "showing evidence of moral and intellectual advancement; humane, ethical and reasonable." http://www.thefreedictionary.com/civilized
I want to study and practice the process of peace in my life,
in my marriage, in my family, in my community, in my world.

These days, you're more than just a student, Pati...you are a teacher of peace! (Maybe teaching is an unavoidable calling? Heh-heh!)
Thanks for teaching others (like me) what you learn daily. It is such a wonderful treat to visit your blog.
Also, I love the photo of you and Al! Really great!
