"Peace is not the product of a victory or a command.
It has no finishing line, no final deadline,
no fixed definition of achievement.
Peace is a never-ending process,
the work of many decisions."
Oscar Arias
President of Costa Rica 1986-1990 & 2006-present
Nobel Peace Prize 1987
http://www.salsa.net/peace/quotes.htmlI believe "peace is a never-ending process" for individuals, as well as families, communities and countries. We each have to make continual decisions and choices to work for peace internally as well as externally. I am thankful we are free to chose peace in our own minds, no matter what is happening in our lives. I pray for peace for all people, internally and externally.
Photo: Peace is having a Grandpa take time to read "Goodnight Moon" to you when you are a little boy...like Henry - 2/14/08

Seems I'm always saying this...but, my goodness, Henry sure is growing!
I love this photo... there is so much to be said about reading to children. ¥
