There are hundreds of choices on iTunes for Yehudi Menuhin's beautiful music. I am thankful to learn more about the life and work of this amazing "performer, conductor, teacher and spokesperson." As a child my experience in learning to play an instrument was piano lessons. We had a beautiful old, oak, upright piano that belonged to past generations of our family. My sister and I both took lessons. I never wanted to practice and consequently never learned to play more than "Chopsticks." My sister, on the other hand, started lessons again in the recent years. I admire her determination to try again, to take lessons, buy a piano and learn to play for her own pleasure. My experience in music, at this time in my life, is to enjoy the beautiful music created by others.
