Sleep in Peace

"Have courage for the great sorrows of life
and patience for the small ones;
and when you have laboriously
accomplished your daily task,
go to sleep in peace. God is awake."

Victor Hugo

Sleeping in peace. I want that for all children; for all people in our world. I believe that all human beings want their children to live in peace. Unfortunately, there have been times in the history of our world that people have had to fight to preserve their way of life. I pray that the leaders of all countries can find the way to work together, in peace, for the peace of our world.

The photo of Liz and Henry was taken last summer, after fun in the sun, at one of the golf courses at Bandon Dunes. Henry's Father, my son John, is at Bandon Dunes this weekend with 11 friends enjoying the beauty of all the golf courses at that resort destination. Bandon Dunes is a beautiful, ocean side, golf resort with three courses and another in the process of being built. The McDougall family has a long history of golfers and Henry is joining that tradition. He can already chip the ball at 19 months old!

I know how to play golf. I enjoy the walk more than my golf game. I am thankful to have had the opportunity to enjoy the peace and beauty of many golf courses. Bandon Dunes is one of my favorite courses. People are flying here from all over the world to enjoy the peace and beauty of this destination location.

I LOVE your quote by Victor Hugo and your slice that follows.
My favorite quote by Victor Hugo is

Be as bird perched on a frail branch that she feels bending beneath her, still she sings away al the same, knowing she has wings.

Peace to you,
