Photo: Al took this photo of me at what I am calling my "Peace Window." It's where I have the opportunity to look out on the beauty and peace of: the Pacific Ocean, all varieties of birds, the whales and seals, the clouds, the beautiful landscaping of lawn and shrubs, Simon running and running the trails Al made for him, Simon and Al playing hide and seak in the dune grass, the storms that come through the area, the boats fishing and crabbing, the big ships coming into port, Al, Chris and Simon flying kites, and all the glorious varieties of sunsets. I am thankful for the opportunity, to look out my "Peace Window" and, to choose to see the beauty of the world around me.

Pati, That was so beautifully written. I love living near water. The sounds, the smells, and on & on. I especially love to sail and sleep aboard. The sounds of the lines & metal clinking rythmically and the gulls lull me to sleep.
