I have read a similar quote from Emerson that states "Adopt the peace of nature." When Googled, the quote above appears to be the correct quote. The "pace of nature…" does have it's own peace; when we have the patience to wait for the beauty of the blooms. If we can feel peace in waiting, peace in patience, that is a step in the process of learning to experience peace in the present moment.
The photo shows the first bud of the year on our "Peace Rose." My favorite Rose. It's worth the wait.
