"Better than a thousand hollow words is one word that brings peace."

Buddha

What is the one word that brings you peace?

Today in the word-a-day I subscribe to, Anu Garg had this quote: "Words are also actions, and actions are a kind of words." Emerson.
I'm not sure what word brings me peace; but I am sure I want to think about what I want my actions to be. I make my living by words and I can be acerbic, not always appreciated. I need to remember words are also actions.

Pati, your blog has become a special part of my daily routine!
The one word that always brings me peace is 'Jesus'. I times of stress I can just say it over and over and his holy name alone can bring me such peace and comfort.

The word is "Be"

Saying Psalm 46:10a several times to myself when in stress, dropping one word each time, brings me peace.
"Be still and know I am God.
Be still and know I am.
Be still and know I.
Be still and know.
Be still and
Be."

"Breathe" This word reminds me to stop, close my eyes, take a deep breath, and focus on that quiet place inside, where God resides, that brings peace to my life.
