"When I walk on my beach now,
I am enveloped in an aura of peace and serenity.
My spirit, my soul, is strangely warmed
in spite of natures's cold temperatures.
I know life is still worth living.
The simple things of life
always bring me back to this realization.
Life is good."
George H. Moffett
"Chicken Soup for the Beach Lover's Soul" - pg. 43
Al spent his teenage years walking and playing on this Lighthouse Beach. So many memories for Al and now he is making more memories with his own family, his children and grandchildren. I am thankful that we have had the opportunity to come back to this beach to feel the peace and serenity of a "life worth living."

Ooo...great photos (today and yesterday) that convey so much! Plus, I love the concept of circles from yesterday and the idea of walking through and in peace today. AWESOMES posts!
I was just reading a new blog called soul aperture on type pad and clicked your name on the blogger colum. Let me just say I will be visiting both blogs daily from now on. You both give off what the world needs more of.
thank you!
such a beautiful photograph! I live near the ocean too and always feel close to spirit and connected to my soul when I walk along the beach...how can you not!
yes, life is good.
