Path to Peace

"There is no one way to peace; there are multiple paths,
which often intersect, overlap, or glance off each other.
At different periods in our lives, we might be on different paths.
Still, we can learn so much about ourselves in the world
by identifying which path is most aligned
with our nature in this moment;
which is our primary path to Peace......

Our behaviors differ, too, depending on the path we walk.
Some are teachers, while others are hands-on peacemakers.
Some meditate, while others mediate.
Some make stories or pictures,
while others engage in nonviolent protest.
Some work in war zones, while others work in their own families."

Today my "path to peace" is working on a Bucilla Cross Stitch project. An Heirloom Santa Ornament called "PEACE SANTA." Can you believe it? I am thankful that I found it in my stash of cross stitch projects that I had ordered sometime in the past, not even knowing there was a Peace Santa in the collection. I was so excited when I discovered the name on the kit. I have been making these Santa Ornaments, usually one a year, for the past 20 years. There are enough Santa's to have a Santa Ornament Christmas Tree! In my path to peace today, I am creating an Heirloom, praying and meditating about peace for all people.

So cool! Love the cross stitch so much (something I haven't done in so long and now feel a lot of inspiration to do again)! So beautiful and such a beautiful meditation to go with it!
